About Camp Lochearn

Camp Lochearn is a residential summer camp located between the White Mountains and the Green Mountains in Post Mills, Vermont. Our counselors and campers come from all over the world to enjoy the beauty of Vermont. Lochearn is one of the most well-respected camps in the country and has been on Lake Fairlee for over 100 years. Surrounding the area in the White Mountains are various hiking trails, mountain hikes, and east coast beaches in Maine and New Hampshire. We are located a few hours from Montreal, Canada, as well as Lake Champlain and Burlington, Vermont. In the nearby towns and cities, there is shopping, dining, and other activities for staff to do on time off. Camp Lochearn is about 2.5 hours from Boston and about 4 hours from New York City and 20 minutes from Dartmouth College.
