About Camp Tawonga
Camp Tawonga is a residential children’s summer camp located outside Yosemite National Park, established in 1925. The campers range in age from 7-17. The Camp Tawonga Staff is a community of almost 200 dedicated individuals, working together to create a vital Jewish community where children thrive. This outstanding team includes people from many backgrounds, histories and traditions. Camp Tawonga’s mission is to foster positive self-image for campers, create a cooperative community, teach children to live in partnership with nature, and offer children a positive experience of spirituality.
