Job Description:
As a Camp Counselor/Activity Specialist, you will play a key role in creating a positive and memorable experience for campers while fostering personal growth, teamwork, and a love for the outdoors. Responsibilities include:
Activity Instruction: Lead and facilitate activities based on your expertise and interests. Activities may include arts and crafts, climbing, whitewater kayaking, and more.
Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of campers during all activities and free time. Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the camp community.
Role Model: Serve as a positive role model for campers, embodying the values of respect, responsibility, and cooperation.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow staff members to plan and execute daily schedules, special events, and themed activities.
Camper Engagement: Foster camper participation and enthusiasm through creative and engaging program development.
Camp Community Involvement: Participate in all-camp activities, including meals, evening programs, and special events, to contribute to the overall camp community.

Passion for working with children and creating a positive camp experience.
Expertise in one or more camp activities (arts and crafts, climbing, whitewater kayaking, etc.).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Prior camp or outdoor education experience is a plus.
