The Marketing Strategist for the Office of Student Wellness is responsible for the promotion and reputation of the departments within the Office of Student Wellness, with a large focus on the nationally-recognized Adventure WV and Campus Recreation programs. They are responsible for the development and implementation of unique and cutting-edge marketing plans and tactics to support the brand, goals, and enrollment of the Adventure WV and Campus Recreation programs. They will also provide periodic support and assistance in marketing and promotion to the WellWVU and Collegiate Recovery programs. This position will take initiative primarily from the Director of Adventure WV and Director of Campus Recreation, with additional direction from the Executive Director of the Office of Student Wellness. Following University Relations guidelines, the position is responsible for managing the development of printed materials, websites, social media, advertisements, online marketing, event promotion, and any other programs that help promote a positive image for the Office of Student Wellness. The position will be responsible for the hiring and management of a Graduate Assistant and team of student staff members to accomplish the tasks associated with the position. The position is part of the Office of Student Wellness professional team and is expected to assist with priority projects on an as-needed basis. This position is listed as hybrid, meaning the Strategist will work remotely and in-person, depending on the particular needs of the day/week.
