POSITION SUMMARY: The AEI Base Camp Facilities/Maintenance Lead will have a broad range of skills and knowledge concerning all aspects of Residential Adventure Camping. This person will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the AEI Base Camp. The Facilities/Maintenance Lead is responsible to the Directors of Adventure Experiences, Inc.

1. Supervise work projects at the AEI Base Camp.
2. Instruct camp staff in the safe use of any tools, equipment, or resource used in the completion of work projects.
3. Maintain and repair camp motor vehicles.
4. Direct the construction of any new camp facilities.
5. Assist camp programming as logistical support.
6. Supervise camp fire safety program.
7. Maintain and repair camp buildings and property.
8. Perform maintenance of all camp roadways.
9. Demonstrate good Christian morals and values.
10. Provide safe and healthy experiences for clients.
11. Be proficient in the wilderness skills which the program offers.
12. Maintain a good working relation with other staff.
13. Follow all guidelines as set forth in the AEI Handbook.
14. Work other aspects of the Company as needed.
15. Other duties as assigned.

Camp Operations experience
Must have two (2) or more of the following:
16. College Degree in a related field;
17. Experience with supervision of children and/or adults;
18. Experience with Camp Administration.

Where: AEI Base Camp located at 10,000 feet in Taylor Park, Colorado. AEI is a Christian wilderness summer camp. We specialize in getting students and adults out of their comfort zones and providing unique experiences. Some of the adventures we guide include multi-day backpacking trips, rock climbing (on real rock), low ropes team building, high ropes challenge course, and peak ascents. We also teach our participants lots of skills including orienteering and leadership.
