Overview

To lead a private group on a 9-day lodge based, backcountry hiking adventure from Seward to Denali. Guides are to provide superior guest service and in-field hospitality, while practicing backcountry safety, wilderness etiquette, and natural history interpretation. This style of trip is to be lead with 2 co-guides, who will drive, lead, and facilitate all logistics and adventures. Guests are prepared for daily moderate to strenuous hikes in the backcountry of Alaska, from the coast to interior. $175.50/per day.

Qualifications:

Wilderness First Responder

Required Skills:

Engaging guest service, enthusiastic leadership, backcountry safety, low impact wilderness travel, risk mitigation practice, and guiding experience. Clean driving record for last 5 years and ability to work with a co-guide.
