Overview

Our canoe staff will teach the basics of canoe safety, parts of the boat and equipment, canoe skills to the finer points of paddling. Our campers will have a range of skill levels and the instructors will need to adapt to this depending on who is in their lesson. This position will also require living with a group of campers (age to be determined during pre-camp).

Qualifications:

LGT and Canoe Instructor certifications are required and we can help with finding courses. We pay for the Canoe Instructor course; LGT is applicants responsibility.

Required Skills:

Able to lift 25lbs, effective communication skills, a love for working with children.

Preferred Skills:

Fun loving, hard working and willing to laugh!
