A versatile position within a dynamic nonprofit that provides relief to survivors of natural disasters. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing field logistics, procuring & delivering materials and equipment, scheduling daily work coordination with the field team, and conducting site damage assessments. The LC also acts as a liaison between homeowners, field teams, and office staff to maintain a smooth workflow and ensure sites are ready for work.

Pay rate is $15/ hour and up, based on position, skills and experience.

Working with staff, team leaders, assessors, and volunteers, identify gaps in training and place individuals in areas of growth and development.
Working with staff; schedules volunteers and groups to maintain consistent workflow across all project sites
Assist with data entry and analysis of sites completed and in progress to implement improvements on the program
Maintain the Salesforce database and quality data input, collection, and auditing
Assist the Program Coordinator(s) as needed to generate & maintain a work queue to accommodate the maximum number of volunteers in the field
Act as Point of Contact for homeowners to ask for assistance, schedule assessments, and get updates on their cases
Schedule, oversee and track maintenance of AHAH fleet vehicles on program
Serve as primary liaison with off-program logistics team
Manage tool/equipment/supply inventory and facilitate ordering when necessary
Ensure work teams have adequate equipment and supplies at site
Schedule and conduct damage assessor training and conduct site assessments as needed
Collect and analyze beneficiary feedback to improve overall operations for the program
To be considered for this position you must be fully vaccinated. The term fully vaccinated refers to when an individual has received either the single-shot vaccine or both doses of the two-shot vaccine, and two weeks have elapsed since the final dose.

Education High school diploma or equivalent required.
Related Experience At least 6 months in leading teams in a post-disaster or similar setting. Experience in working
Work Environment/Conditions Communal living environment; High-stress situations.
Special Competencies/Certifications Good written and oral communication skills and confidence working with Salesforce and Google Suite, Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Applicants need to be well organized and have a flexible approach to managing multiple tasks, prioritizing them appropriately, and outstanding delegation skills. The individual is able to manage a large workload and perform in a fast-paced environment. Experience or understanding chainsaw operations is a plus.
