Overview

Alzar School is seeking a motivated, hardworking team player to plug into several different needs at the school. The work will be varied and support the daily operations of the school. The selected individual will be trained to spend time working part of their time in the commercial kitchen preparing meals for the larger community. They will help with expedition food packing. They will also be trained to work with the facilities crew, maintaining buildings and grounds (including fire mitigation, trail building, repairs and cleaning). As appropriate, they may be plugged in to support student experiences (if the candidate has appropriate experience and qualifications). Additionally, there may be times of the year when the students are off campus that they are involved in support basic office work. This is a great position for someone who likes active work, who wants to learn a variety of skills relevant to schools, camps, and outfitters, and who wants to live and adventure in Idaho. This position has the ability to tailor somewhat to the strengths of the candidate, where it aligns with school needs. Come join an amazing program with supportive, fun coworkers who are driven by the mission of the organization.
