Overview

Naturalist Guide: From 1⁄2 day to 10 day camping trips. Our most popular options are day trips to Valdez (6 hours) or Columbia Glaciers (10 hours). Guides also have the chance to lead or assist on overnight trips ranging from 1-10 days; either wilderness (camping), mother ship (yacht), or lodge based. Extended wilderness/camping trips are either “guide assisted” with clients providing their own camping equipment and food, or “fully guided” with Anadyr guides preparing meals and outfitting the trip. Interpretation of natural history is a large part of all trips.
Benefits: pro-deal program, inexpensive onsite housing, job training, many outdoor rec opportunities, and a chance to experience a unique corner of Alaska.
Pay: Per trip basis with an end of season bonus if contract is fulfilled, plus tips.
