The Business Operations & Finance Manager position is a full-time, multi-faceted role that supports all the operations and financial activities of ARCC. Duties are administrative in nature and include but are not limited to corresponding with parents and students, referral agencies and alumni; establishing trip materials for individual programs in conjunction with the program director; processing both incoming and outgoing payments; management of business operational finances; basic data entry related to financial bookkeeping; and any other necessary administrative tasks. This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Support Summer, Gap and Custom and Admissions Directors with the following program responsibilities:
Leader Recruitment, Hiring, Onboarding, Training
Support staff trainings and program preps and debriefs as needed
Compiling program and trip materials
Phone support with providing information/assistance to parents/students or routing callers to appropriate staff members
On program logistical assistance for leaders and students and as part of the office team supporting with any emergency situations that arise while programs are in the field
Supporting ARCC staff with educational fair coordination, travel and other internal and external events
Maintain office equipment and supplies

Perform daily banking procedures, bill pay and check writing for trip expenses and other office costs
Basic QuickBooks data entry related to expenses and receiving student payments
Basic Sasant entry to batch upload data
Perform general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll duties
Trip Budget Pouches (debit & credit card management, accounting sheets, cash, foreign currency)
Monitoring and support with trip bank accounts and cards
Negotiate and maintain contracts with outside partners/vendors

Database Software
Support with managing and maintaining student, parent and alumni database
Creation and management of new seasons, sessions and groups
Creating invoicing and expense line items
Invoicing families and receiving payments
Support with student and leader form creation and verification
Establish and maintain records for students

Other Office / Administrative
Manage and organizes office operations and procedures including but not limited to bookkeeping, payroll, information management, supplies
Manage staff benefits (including pro-deals) and professional development opportunities
Performing other related duties as required – these duties may vary depending on skill set and operational period

Terms and Compensation:
This position is ideally based in Bend, OR with a remote possibility contingent on circumstances. $45,000 – 60,000 annual starting salary commensurate with experience level, and benefits including three weeks of paid vacation per year (plus holidays), medical coverage, and 401K (after nine months of employment). Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent
Two years related experience or;
