Arizona Conservation Corps (AZCC), a statewide program within the Conservation Legacy family of programs, is looking for a talented individual to direct the Individual Placement (IP) program which provides internship opportunities for young adults and recent military veterans with partners throughout Arizona. The IP Program Director will excel at organization, developing and maintaining relationships with external partners, and supervising and supporting a small team of staff all in support of creating life changing experiences for individuals looking for exciting and career propelling experiences.
The IP Program Director will join a passionate and mission driven staff who work from two primary offices in Flagstaff and Tucson and support projects throughout the state – from Grand Canyon in the north to Saguaro National Park in the south; across the 6 national forests in Arizona which include parts of the largest contiguous Ponderosa Pine forest stand in the world; to the 4 deserts which blanket the state.
Both the work which AZCC does and living in Arizona is large in scale and grand in impact. We welcome your interest in “fostering conservation service in support of communities and ecosystems” and hope to see your application materials.
