Avid4 Adventure, voted on Outside Magazine’s Top 50 Best Places to Work list for its 5th year in a row, is hiring an Onboarding Specialist to work with our Human Resources Department. This position will support our HR team in creating an efficient and human-centered onboarding experience for our 600+ seasonal staff.

Position Responsibilities:

Crafting and sending comprehensive emails to new hires with information related to the
organization and onboarding needed for their position
Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to
process onboarding employee paperwork
Prepare staff documentation for licensing and accreditation review
Addressing the queries of new hires regarding their onboarding documentation
Informing new hires on their initial and required tasks
Gathering and processing new hire paperwork

Qualifications:

Job Requirements

Prior experience as an HR Onboarding Specialist is a major plus
Experience with HRIS and Google Docs and Sheets
Knowledge of all HR processes (e.g., recruitment, onboarding, training, talent management etc.)
Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information
Strong verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills
Exceptional time-management and organizational skills

Important Details

Job dates: March - June
Work week: Monday - Friday, about 40 hours/week
