BORP (Bay Area Outreach and Recreation Program) has been offering recreation opportunities for people with physical disabilities in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 45 years.

As the Program Assistant you’ll play an integral role in the function of our adaptive cycling center which also includes adaptive kayaking.

Qualifications:

This position is designed to support all experience levels. If you are new to outdoor leadership we are happy to offer you the experiences that help you grow. If you are a seasoned veteran we are excited to put your skills to use.

Required Skills:

Each staff member must be vaccinated and boosted for covid-19, pass a background check, and complete a TB test.

Must be able to work most Saturdays and Sundays March through October. Exceptions can be made, but the majority of our events take place on the weekend April-October.

Preferred Skills:

Good communication skills are essential for this position. You'll be working closely with other staff and volunteers. Additionally, attention to the folks we serve and safe practices require a great deal of self-awareness.
