Overview

We are excited to be adding another Program Director to our team to help us reach our goal of inspiring and equipping campers to find their path, unlock their potential and become leaders of consequence. You will work with the program team to lead summer camp programming, with your focus being on specialized programs. If you also want to set high standards for safety, design and implement camp programs, facilitate retreat, rental and outdoor education groups, hire, train and supervise seasonal staff, and assist with social media then this is the opportunity for you!

You will ensure adherence to YMCA Policies, ACCT, PA Amusement Act, OSHA and ACA Standards, maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, and will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all ropes activities. Working closely with our partner camps, volunteer groups and seasonal staff you’ll help run programs that promote a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older, have at least 3 years of previous camp experience managing and training staff in camp activities, and have a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Must have a clean driving record and possess (or the ability to obtain) ACCT Level 2 and PA Amusement Certifications.

Salary: $41,000-$44,000
