Camp Unalayee is looking for outdoor lovers who want to be backpacking Summer Camp Counselors this summer! Come spend the summer in the beautiful Trinity Alps Wilderness of Northern California. Teach kids and teens ages 10-17 wilderness skills, how to backpack, what it means to be part of a community and lots of fun activities like arts & crafts, archery, rock climbing, sports, boating, nature identification and more.
Staff must be at least 19 years old and have current CPR certification
Staff must be in good physical condition, as they will be living and hiking at 7000 feet.
We seek staff who are able to maintain a balance of energy, flexibility and responsibility. The most successful staff are those who like to work hard, smile a lot and want to make a positive difference in a child’s life and the world. We look for people who are comfortable living outdoors and enjoy working with their peers as well as with young people.
WFR & Lifeguarding also highly desired.
