The Christ School Outdoor Program seeks a part-time climbing coach for our spring season. This individual will assist the head coach in planning and implementing practices, both in our indoor gym facility and in single-pitch settings outdoors. It is most important that applicants work well with youth and are comfortable teaching others in climbing skills / technique. Adaptability, coachability, hard-work ethic, time-management skills, and a sense of humor are crucial to this role. Since Christ School is an all-boys boarding school, being able to cultivate trust and a good rapport with young men is crucial. This role is ideal for outdoor educators seeking experience in trip planning, risk management, climbing skills, and teaching under the mentorship of our head coach (who is an AMGA SPI) and from other members of our Outdoor Program staff.
