Danville: Connect is a pilot program for the 2021-22 school year focusing on three very important goals: creating work-based, hands-on learning opportunities, teaching the leadership and employability skills essential for post-secondary life, and above all, encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning. This program is designed for 9th and 10th grade students who learn best in a hands-on environment.

In coordination with a program assistant, the program instructor will seek out work and learning opportunities in the surrounding community, and work to connect academic disciplines with real-world experiences. The program instructor will serve as the primary liaison with community partners, and will actively seek new learning opportunities throughout the school year.
