Outdoor Adventure Instructors work closely with the Assistant Director and Logistics Coordinator to plan and lead classes, Added Adventures, or Hante Adventures Treks. We offer adventures for campers of all ages and skill levels. Participants learn a variety of technical skills including: leave no trace, fire building, tarp building, knots, backcountry cooking, and backpacking! Instructors are responsible for organizing and preparing their trips, including: planning the menu and packing the food, ensuring the appropriate gear is packed and accounted for, working with the health hut staff to ensure your med kit is stocked and you have the correct paperwork, and most importantly facilitating a fun and rewarding trip for participants! Wilderness Staff must enjoy living and working in the outdoors and have a passion for inspiring and mentoring children.
