Guide Manager

Overview

Looking for a guide manager for a high end adventure company with lodges in Patagonia and beyond. We are looking for a detailed individual to run our guide operations in Patagonia from December- April each summer. The job is to coordinate, facilitate and work with the guide team on a daily basis to produce a high end adventure while providing a safe environment for our clients. The job requires facilitating routine guide training’s, building monthly work schedules for guides, developing future activities or expanding on created ones. Working with Lodge manager and lodge staff on daily logistics. Our guide team does a variety of activities such as Fly Fishing, Glacier trekking, White water rafting, SUPing, Day hikes, Jet boating, Biking and Climbing.

Swift water Cert
Wildernes 1st Responder
CPR
management experience
Google Sheets/Docs

Required Skills:

Good communication skills
Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment
Knowledge of Rivers
Boat experience
Sound safety practices in the outdoors

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge around Helicopters
Glacier Rescue
River Rescue
