At EXP, you are a member of an exclusive team of outdoor enthusiasts who thrive on sharing the environment to create a luxury travel experience like no other. As an EXP Trip Guide, you will be an Adventure Guide, Host, Chef, Logistics Coordinator, Chauffeur, and Concierge, responsible for the overall flow of the trip. From picking up guests at the airport, guiding them in National Parks, providing amazing lunch opportunities, to taking them to hotels and private luxury campsites. You provide an experience for adventurers seeking to get away from the rigors of their daily lives. Your skills, abilities and love for the outdoors will play into creating an incredibly rewarding personal journey filled with adventure.

EXP Trip Guides are seasonal employees serving near our National Parks and Monuments as well as locations throughout North and South America. From the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, the canyons of Lake Powell, and awe inspiring Zion and Bryce Canyon, to the rugged and beautiful lands of Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons; up into the Canadian Rockies, and Alaska and down into Patagonia and the wonders of South America. Travel destinations will become your home while working trips for EXP.

Our vision is that EXP Guides will grow to become Lead Adventure Guides in the Outdoor Industry.

As a guide you will begin your journey working directly with our Lead Guides and Camp Guides, helping to set up experiences, assisting to make trips run smoothly and fine tuning accommodations for a premier experience. You will be integral to our client’s experience as you assist the lead guide and make everyone feel special as part of our amazing environment. As you gain experience, tune your outdoor leadership skills, and continue to provide 5-star service you will grow into a Lead Travel Guide, leading our clients on multi day trips throughout North and South America.

We are hiring adults age 23 or older, with the following minimum qualifications:

Experience in the outdoors, with basic camp skills, and the ability to manage risks in the outdoor environment, and knowledge of outdoor ethics.
Positive, proactive Customer Service.
Team focused mindset.
The ability to lift and carry 50 or more pounds for extended periods.
Excellent communication skills.

Required Skills:

New hires will be required to obtain, and submit the following:
Wilderness First Responder / CPR certification. Or ability to obtain this certification.
Food Handler License.
Recent (39 mo.) Motor Vehicle Driver Record
Federal Department of Transportation Motor Carrier Medical Exam Certificate (If authorized to transport passengers).

Any necessary qualification to be determined as required from federal land agencies.
