Supports the development, logistics, and facilitation of outdoor recreation events. Leads and supports programming in qualified areas. Implements community outreach and social media strategies; and provides support to the Outdoor Recreation Division’s administrative operations, equipment maintenance and management, and other functions. Provides input and support to division coordinators.
Events include Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience, The Adventure Summit, Bike To Work Day Pancake Breakfast.
Associate degree in outdoor recreation management or closely related field and one year experience in outdoor recreation programming and/or event planning. Willingness and ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
