Overview
We are seeking emergency first aid instructors to join our team. Each month, we host Hostile Environments and Emergency First Aid Training (HEFAT) courses to help prepare humanitarian and media professionals for high-risk work.
We are looking for trainers who enjoy sharing their first aid awareness, knowledge, and skills with trainees in an encouraging and non-judgmental environment. Trainers must be team players who enjoy working in a group teaching format, equipped with a sense of humor, humility, and the ability to command a room. Knowledge of other languages and relevant field experience are a plus.
Qualifications:
Emergency medical training (EMT certification preferred but not required)
Required Skills:
Experience or interest in training civilians
Preferred Skills:
Bilingual (Spanish, French, or Arabic), experience with remote, austere, or conflict environments (high-risk is ideal but not required)
