Spend your summer mentoring young people, teaching and playing in woods and rivers, and learning and growing as part of an amazing camp community! As a Whitewater Kayaking Instructor at Gwynn Valley Camp this summer, you’ll teach beginner-level kayaking classes to children ages 10 – 12 most days of the week. Kayak leaders typically lead at least six kayaking trips to nearby rivers (class I and II) throughout the summer, and help conduct various activities in the evening. As an activity instructor, you’ll live on-site in housing we provide (NOT in cabins with campers). Plus, you’ll eat amazing food in our dining hall, make lifelong friends, learn new skills, build connections with outdoor industry professionals, save money (free room and board!) and have a ton of fun!
