The Conservation Program Manager works with HCA staff, volunteers, and Alliance members to develop, plan, implement, evaluate, and improve conservation projects.
Key projects include administering HCA’s job and training program – the Nature Action Crew, managing the emerging Blue River Greenway recreation and restoration program, leading multiple community work groups, leading every-other-year updates of the Blue River Report Card and Action Plan, and land trust coordination.
The Conservation Program Manager will facilitate the sustainability and development of new conservation programs that support the mission of the organization. The position will be the organization lead for grant identification, solicitation, writing, and management in the program area. The Conservation Program Manager will assist the Finance & Operations Director with budget development and management for their program area.
