About Higher Ground

26% of adults and 17% of children live with some type of disability.
Of the 21 million veterans who live in the US, 1 in 3 suffers from depression, anxiety, PTSD, or other invisible injuries.

Our proven approach marries recreational therapy with the powers of the great outdoors to achieve something we call whole-life healing.
We encourage. We empower. And we give people the tools they need to achieve the highest levels of independence. We make people feel like themselves again.

It's the power of human nature,
activated by the wonders of Mother Nature.
