Qualifications:

College Degree, WFA or WFR, 3 years working with students in the back-country or classroom.

Required Skills:

Familiarity with canoe camping, wilderness travel and mentoring students.

Preferred Skills:

comfortability with winter travel, interest in an outdoor way of life, not just a "job." Comfortability in cooking/cleaning for groups, carpentry skills, and ability to adapt and be flexible with students and scheduling.

The Hyde Wilderness School is located in northern Maine on 640 acres at the foot of the iconic Bigelow Mountain range. A dream come true for anyone who likes to work with youth in a pristine wilderness setting! Programming ranges from Wellness Retreats to Summer camp programs to Family wilderness programs.
