Overview
OUR VISION FOR THIS ROLE:
The HR Manager will be responsible for people management and development initiatives for JUMP! Foundation globally, including across our offices in Thailand, China, and Canada. They will oversee all HR systems, work with senior management to identify staffing needs, hire employees, ensure compliance with regulations, and handle employee relations.
WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE:
The HR Manager will have competence and flexibility in a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Works with the Chief Operating Officer to identify organizational staffing needs.
Management and oversight of full recruitment, onboarding/inductions and offboarding systems and processes.
Oversees the design and implementation of the performance management process and partners with line managers to identify appropriate training and development activities for staff.
Plans and implements staff development and training initiatives.
Ensures payroll and employee benefits are administered correctly and undertakes a regular review of the global compensation package structure.
Developing and maintaining the Standard Operating Procedure for JUMP!’s HR systems and processes and updating the HR Operations Manual.
Monitors the use of the Human Resources Information System and ensures information is updated promptly.
Liaises with external consultants to ensure compliance measures are adhered to and resolve employment issues from time to time.
Contributing to the management, mentoring, and supporting all JUMP! Staff.
Managing conflict resolution and mediation.
Trains and mentors HR staff globally.
Qualifications:
Minimum 7+ years of human resources management experience and minimum 3+ years in managing people.
Possess qualifications in human resources, business administration or a related degree.
Comfortable with uncertainty and working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change quickly.
Enjoys the challenge of driving forward big projects independently and with minimal supervision and knows when to escalate issues to senior management.
Required Skills:
Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems e.g. BambooHR
Fluent in English with excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in presenting to senior management teams.
Proven skills in stakeholder and relationship management.
Training and coaching experience preferred.
Prior experience living and working in Asia.
