Does camping in rural Oregon and visiting the iconic Crater Lake sound amazing to you? We are searching for an outdoorsy, sociable group leader for a two week Oregon camping and sightseeing trip! We will pay for your flight to Portland, Oregon if you are not local. The trip is two weeks long, from June 18-July 2, 2022. Pay is $170/day. This comes to $2550 for 15 days. Group leaders will be on duty 24/7, assisting a small group of 10 international students (college-age and adults; most over 18) from the UK who are working on a rural historical preservation initiative with HistoriCorps. The group includes a university staff member, so the leader will not be alone in supporting the group. During the week, the group will work on their preservation initiative, and the group leader will support them as needed (but if the leader wants to participate in the preservation work with the group, they are welcome to). Must love tent camping and beautiful scenery! On the weekends, the group leader will be responsible for transporting the group via 15-passenger van for overnight sightseeing excursions and airport pickup and drop-off. Excursions include a visit to the beautiful Crater Lake! Lodgings and food included for the whole trip. Just bring your sleeping bag.
