Overview
Job Title: Camp Nurse
Department: Camp & Adventure Programs
Reports to: Camp Programs Manager
Compensation: $1200 per week base rate, 10% differential (increase) for Spanish speakers, 3% increase for returning camp staff.
Dates: May 13th, 2024 – August 17th, 2024

Qualifications:
Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive background check;
A licensed physician, or a registered nurse license;
Excellent driving record and a valid driver's license; Candidates age 20+ with a minimum of 4 years driving experience will be required to participate in and pass Van Driver Training, and they will be required to drive a 15-passenger van.
Required Skills:
Willingness to be ‘on call’ by phone 24 hours a day while programs are in session;
Have an interest in, respect for, and ability to work with children;
Strong work ethic and will work until the job is complete;
Ability to supervise an EMT to maintain high health and safety standards;
Ability to oversee and coach camp staff to maintain high health and safety standards;
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and Adobe;
Comprehension of the Spanish language via written and/or verbal form;
Excellent driving record and a valid driver's license.
