Kifaru International is looking for accountable, hard-working people that enjoy making things with their hands and take pride in a job well done. No prior sewing experience is required but preferred; on the job training will be provided. Ability to wrangle stubborn materials with dexterity through a sewing machine required. Hours: 6am – 3pm (40 hours /week).
Pay: Variable based on experience and work ethic, starts at $16/hr (includes paid holidays)
Position to Start: End of December / beginning of January.

Sit for long periods of time
Able to lift/move 10-15lbs
Good eye-hand coordination, concentration and a demonstrated attention to detail
Pride in your work (every sewer signs a tag in the product for accountability)
Read and understand production work orders and related instructions
Basic computer skills preferred, will train you on what is needed
Prior knowledge of Walking foot, needle feed, sergers and bartackers preferred but will be taught.
Perform basic equipment upkeep and be able to keep your machine running to specifications (this will be taught but must be a continual process)
Must be able to meet or exceed daily work output goals
Inspect work quality and adjust your equipment to correct mistakes
Must be at least 18 years of age
