This exciting 75% time position is both a program administrator, guide and supervisor/mentor for other guides. The Outdoor Programs Manager will plan, coordinate and evaluate guided program; manage program registrations and registration systems (database), provide excellent customer service and participant communications and supervise and mentor seasonal guide staff. In addition, the Outdoor Programs Manager will function as a Lead Guide to safely facilitate educational and adventurous guided programs. Reporting to the Programs Director, the Outdoor Programs Manager will work collaboratively with staff, partners and volunteers, while promoting a positive and progressive work environment in alignment with the Mount St. Helens Institutes Institute’s mission, values, strategic plan and policies.
