The Custom Education Assistant Director will work with the Custom Education team to define priorities and develop long-range strategic vision for the department. With the director, the assistant director will supervise a team responsible for business development, relationship cultivation and stewardship, and operational delivery of courses. In addition, the assistant director will personally cultivate and manage a portfolio of long-term client relationships with organizations and individuals outside of NOLS to advance the school’s mission.
Ability to energetically and accurately represent NOLS to a broad range of constituents including current and prospective clients, faculty, families, students, alumni, and staff
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and oral and written communication skills
Ability to build rapport quickly in person as well as through phone conversation and personal correspondence, including remote employees
Ability to assess clients’ desired outcomes and to suggest NOLS-delivered solutions in a dynamic manner
