Overview

As the NOLS Patagonia Director you will provide leadership in all aspects of NOLS Patagonia operations in support of NOLS’ mission and strategic goals, and potentially supervise another NOLS location. You will represent NOLS in all aspects of campus operation and program implementation while promoting positive community relations and understanding in Chile. You will manage legal and financial maters, “leave no trace” (No Deje Rastro) programs, human resources, land management and community relationships, program supervision, and operational support for expedition and classroom programs, and work with Chilean government and non-governmental agencies to advance the NOLS mission in Chile.

About NOLS

NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) is a nonprofit global wilderness school that supports thousands of students each year all over the world. Our school began in a small cabin in Sinks Canyon, Wyoming in 1965 as the National Outdoor Leadership School. At that time, we were primarily an outdoors skills school, doing our work in local mountain ranges and exploring what it meant to teach leadership in the backcountry.
