Overview
The Noble Hotel is two blocks away from the NOLS Rocky Mountain campus in downtown Lander, Wyoming. The Noble houses NOLS students and instructors before and after they embark on their wilderness-based expeditions. Consisting of 50 sleeping rooms, a commercial kitchen, a library, a rec room, and several meeting spaces, the Noble is a bustling hub for the NOLS community. The Student Lodging Coordinator works as a member of the Rocky Mountain team to keep the Noble running smoothly, communicate with all Rocky Mountain students regarding their travel plans, and to serve as a receptionist. Often the first person that students interact with at the Rocky Mountain campus is the Student Lodging Coordinator, who plays an essential role in welcoming students and contributing to an environment that encourages them to feel relaxed and supported.
About NOLS
NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) is a nonprofit global wilderness school that supports thousands of students each year all over the world. Our school began in a small cabin in Sinks Canyon, Wyoming in 1965 as the National Outdoor Leadership School. At that time, we were primarily an outdoors skills school, doing our work in local mountain ranges and exploring what it meant to teach leadership in the backcountry. Today, we are NOLS, a multifaceted wilderness school headquartered in Lander, Wyoming with locations in seven U.S. states and six countries, that supports thousands of students each year all over the world in both field & classroom courses.
