Overview

SUMMARY
North Cascades Institute seeks an enthusiastic customer service-minded individual to serve as the principal on-site contact and host for Conference & Retreat program at the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center (ELC) located in North Cascades National park; join the hosting team for Base Camp programs; and provide specific logistical support for the Mountain School program. This position is supervised by the Adult and Family Programs Manager. The Program Service Specialist is based at the ELC, living and working in a remote setting with many of their colleagues.

COMPENSATION
This is a seasonal/temporary, non-exempt, full-time position. The pay rate is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on training and experience.

Note that housing near Diablo Lake is scarce, and often only available at high rates. This position has the opportunity for housing through the Institute (see below). If you choose to find independent housing, you will be eligible to receive a $1/hour off-campus housing stipend.
