Northwest Outward Bound School looks to hire Logistics Coordinators that have at least one year of comparable expedition/outdoor and/or organizing experience.

Working with Course Directors, Logistics Coordinators (LCs) intentionally design courses to meet the needs of their students and staff. They facilitate the packing of equipment and food, prep and drive vehicles, repair gear, and restock inventory. The Logistics Coordinator works directly with students and Instructors during course functions such as course start, resupply, or course end. They also work independently or with the logistics team in the Warehouse. The workload for LCs is varied and dynamic, with time spent in the field sleeping at trailheads as well as time spent at the Basecamp collaboratively creating and maintaining a healthy community culture.

Every LC brings their authentic and unique self to the role. The work is challenging yet rewarding and demands humility, creativity, flexibility, determination, and above all: compassion.

Starting daily rate $85, with the ability to advance once the requirements for the next level have been met.
Room & board: Laundry, showers and internet are available for your use on base. Staff receive field food while on course, and are fed out of the common kitchen while on base. These benefits are provided to improve staff well-being and are not considered compensation or factored into the pay scale.
