OARS, one of the most respected outfitters in adventure travel, is seeking a River Operations Manager for our Angels Camp, California operation. Qualifications:

The Angels Camp River Operations Manager works in coordination with the Base Operations Manager to oversee the orderly operation of all trips originating from the Angels Camp operation, while maintaining the highest standards for safe trips and guest satisfaction. The targeted focus of the River Operations manager is operations that occur on-river. The River Operations Manager and the Base Operations Manager work in cooperation to make up the Angels Camp Regional Management Team. As members

Strong operational experience in the industry
Exceptional communication skills
Broad knowledge of outfitting multi-day river trips
Critical attention to detail
Capability for strategic decision-making
Ability to drive company culture prioritizing justice, equality, diversity and inclusion
Self-starter who can prioritize and organize tasks to meet deadlines based on trip schedule, staff needs, departmental needs and seasonal schedule
A visible, proactive, personally involved leader with management background

Preferred Skills:

Ability to drive company trucks and trailers, Commercial Drivers License with passenger endorsement a plus
