Overview
Climbing Site Managers (CSM) assist in providing outdoor education and leadership development programs for school groups, adult groups, and at-risk youth by directing all climbing activities. The CSM sets up the climbs, briefs the staff and participants, manages safety and educational effectiveness, and takes down the climbing site.

Dates: 3/7 – 3/10
Contract Rate: approx. $750
Qualifications:
Minimum 21 years of age. Current first aid & CPR certification. Outdoor teaching experience with adults and youth. Advanced skills in: rock climbing, anchor building, & LNT. Current Single Pitch Instructor or Rock Guide certification from AMGA, PCGA or PCIA. Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively alone and in groups. Ability to work flexible hours. Ability to implement and model effective risk management practices and manage field risk.
Required Skills:
Excellent guide skills with managing climbing activities with groups. Rock clumbing skills including but not limited to: setting up top-rope anchors, belaying. Skills in leadership, teamwork, time management, organization, judgment, planning and communication including such abilities as: Interpreting group dynamics, Listening and giving feedback, Facilitation, teaching, role modeling, and life skills in order to unlock potential, promote self-discovery and inspire growth in our students.
