Overview

We are looking for positive, hard-working, team-oriented individuals who would like to spend summers, working a fun, rewarding job as a lead class III whitewater rafting and sea kayaking guide with an upbeat crew in a beautiful place. Our guides lead small groups of people on sea kayak tours in tidewater glacier zones and throughout the stunningly scenic area of Prince William Sound surrounding Valdez, and some guides also lead rafting trips down the nearby dramatic Keystone Canyon of the Lowe River.

Qualifications:

Wilderness First Responder (WFR), CPR, (Swiftwater Rescue Technician (SRT) and/or Raft Guiding certs for Raft Guides).

Required Skills:

Strong judgement, sound common sense, good communication, and being a people person are all musts!

Preferred Skills:

An ability to get along well with coworkers is key, as is a good attitude towards all kinds of weather.
