Overview

We are looking for positive, hard-working, team-oriented individuals who would like to spend fun summers, working a rewarding job as a lead sea kayaking guide with interesting, outdoorsy people in a beautiful place. Our guides lead small groups of people on sea kayak tours in tidewater glacier zones and throughout the stunningly scenic area of Prince William Sound surrounding Valdez. We also have internships available for those light on experience.

Qualifications:

Prior outdoor experience sea kayaking and/or guiding is preferred. All guides must hold current Wilderness First Responder and CPR certifications. Interns need a minimum of current basic First Aid and CPR certifications.

Required Skills:

Strong judgement, sound common sense, good communication, and being an upbeat people person are all musts!

Preferred Skills:

An ability to get along well with coworkers is key.
