Join a diverse and dynamic team of outdoor education leaders engaged in rewarding work that is making a difference in the lives of participants from historically marginalized communities. Our beautiful 268-acre campus with a 15 acre lake is close to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and the Appalachian Trail, where a landscape filled with local wildlife, birds, and fish become a classroom filled with adventure!

Salary $700-$725 per week (depending on experience) with room and board (valued at approximately $400 per week)

$800 completion bonus for those that stay the entire season.

Wilderness First Responder class is available from March 18-23, 2024.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment.
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, professionalism, a commitment to lead by example, and dedication to the mission of Princeton-Blairstown Center.

Required Skills:

Experience working with young people, individually and in groups.
Able to work long hours, including evening and late-night programs, in high stress conditions.
Able to live and work in both outdoor spaces and rustic environments.
Demonstrated commitment to cultural competency.

Preferred Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree, however, experience in the field can be substituted. Experience working with young people from historically marginalized communities.
Training and experience leading and or facilitating low and high ropes courses, canoeing, backpacking, and hiking. Excellent verbal and written communication .
