The reservationist is often the first and last point of contact our customers have with our business. Our business depends on effective customer service, and reservationists are on the front line. Reservationists need to be able to speak and write clearly, quickly reference information, and have positive, professional interactions with all people. This is a fast-paced job where accuracy is vital. Duties include, but are not limited to, answering phones, taking reservations, retail, responding to customer inquiries over the phone and by email, and assisting with operations. There are opportunities to build skills in customer service, sales, administration, marketing, and business strategy in this position. A great way to build knowledge of the business side of the outdoor industry.

Good writing skills with ability to communicate clearly and professionally in emails
Able to be accurate in collecting, recording, and sharing information in writing, by phone, or through a database.
Comfort with computers and ability to learn new software and processes is required.
Experience in a customer-facing role in retail, food service, or education is helpful.
The ideal candidate has a desire to learn, is self-aware, and driven to improve with a passion for the outdoors.
