Overview
General Statement of Duties: Coordinate and supervise recreation programs in assigned area, providing high quality recreation opportunities for the community in partnership with SOS Outreach.
Supervision Required: Works under the general guidance and direction of the Recreation Programs Superintendent as well as SOS Outreach leadership
Supervision Exercised: May directly supervise part-time and seasonal employees, volunteers, instructors, and coaches.
Work Environment: Works indoors and outdoors. Work hours will vary, including evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Hours will be flexible to successfully accomplish the duties of the position.

Required Skills:
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation or related field; AND
2. Three years of progressive work experience in direct leadership and supervision of recreation programs, specifically as related to assigned program area; OR
3. Any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the above duties.
4. Must be 21 years of age and able to operate a van and trailer combination, possess a valid driver’s license, pass a written/practical
