Overview

Field guides work with at-risk teenagers in a backcountry setting. The schedule is 4-days on 3-days off with one 8-day shift every 8 weeks and 6 days off every 8 weeks. The first responsibility is keeping our clients safe. The second responsibility is keeping a therapeutic environment by working our specific treatment philosophy. We live a very primitive lifestyle. We cook on coals, eat with a stick, make shelters from tarps and make fire with primitive methods (no matches or lighters).
