As a valued member of our team at Stone Mountain Adventures your role will not only be to keep campers and staff safe during Rock Climbing activities, but to make these areas of camp fun and engaging for all.
We are very lucky to have 70’ crags on site with 20 climbs ranging from 5.3 to 5.12. We also have 2 other locations we can climb at as well. At SMA we certify our campers to belay so you will not be a belay slave. The other good news is that when you are not climbing you get to lead other the other exciting adventure activities we offer. Our campers learn valuable skills while having a blast on our Rock climbing on real rocks everyday.

Responsibilities Include:
-Run ground school / belay training
-Setting up top rope climbs using natural anchors
-Setting up rappels with a lower able anchor
-Monitoring top rope site
-Demonstrating climbing techniques (you get to climb most days!)
-Maintain climbing equipment
-Lead other camp activities (sports, white water rafting, mt biking, service)
