Schedule & Hours:
Monday – Thursday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM; Fridays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Crew members work roughly 35 hrs./per week
Pay Rate: $15 hourly rate (Young Adult Crew Members)
Transportation and Site Locations: Van transportation will be provided for Crew Members. Crew leader and members will decide to pick up and drop off location. We do not pick up or drop off at members’ homes.

Position Description: In partnership with the Georgia Conservation Fund, SCA Young Adult Team will provide services by engaging in the extensive invasive species removal at Lindsay Park. This crew will be based out of Lindsay Park. This crew will consist of three members and will work alongside an SCA crew leader. Primarily, this project requires SCA members to remove vegetation, Privet, Kazoo, and English Ivey from the back layer of the park. In addition, this crew will help with dead tree removal, trash removal, in and around the creek, maintaining roots in the ground, adding mulch berm at top of the hill to slow rain and erosion from the park, and cutting woody privet and treat stump don’t pull it out 1/2 inch or inch and support with treatment for new growth.
If members do not already have basic first aid and CPR training, they will need to receive certification before starting the program.
