Sugarbush Resort is searching for both volunteer and paid ski patrollers for our 2021-2022 winter season! Sugarbush Ski Patrol is a highly trained community of professionals that hold a love of the outdoors and a readiness to ensure the safety of mountain guests. Patrollers see to a safe alpine environment – educating all to ski/ride safely and providing pre-hospital emergency medical care and transportation when required. We can help candidates identify training opportunities prior to the start of the season, so if you are interested and are missing required certifications, we encourage you to apply!
Wilderness First Responder, Outdoor Emergency Technician, Emergency Medical Responder, Emergency Medical Technician, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic
Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Expert skiing, telemark or snowboarder. Excellent skiing technical skills (most jobs are performed on skis and ski boots.) Good reading and writing skills. Ability to communicate in an understandable manner and capable to logically present a point of view. Good customer service. Must be comfortable completing work in potentially stressful conditions outdoors in any weather. Possible exposure to bodily fluids.
