Teton Valley Trails and Pathways (TVTAP) is growing. This opportunity to join our close-knit, hard-working, non-profit crew as the Development Director allows you to help us promote a trails and pathways connected community. As the Development Director, you’ll report to the Executive Director and you are responsible for defining and implementing Trails and Pathways’ philanthropic vision and direction, to ensure that the organization has the financial and relationship resources needed to accomplish and sustain its mission. Your proven experience as a fundraising and organizational development specialist, with several years of management experience in a non-profit organization or similar environment will help you succeed at Trails & Pathways. The applicant must be motivated, can solve complex problems, think creatively, have a passion for philanthropy and for the mission and work of Teton Valley Trails and Pathways.
• A passion for philanthropy, and confidence when asking for financial contributions of all types and amounts, are required.
• Degree preferred, preferably in philanthropy, non-profit management, business, marketing, communications, or a related field. Other degrees will be considered with sufficient experience/qualifications.
-Previous fundraising experience required
-Ability to work evenings and weekends with advanced notice; ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions; ability to lift 50 lbs; successful completion of an enhanced background check; and a valid Idaho Driver License will all be requirements for this position.
Must be willing to work as both a leader and a team member with staff and board, and to seek and embrace diversity when working with donors, partner organizations, members, and public.
