Overview

The role of the School Counselor is to provide social and emotional support to students and their families across our educational programs serving students age 3-18. Working closely with school leadership, our wellness team, educational teams, families and sending schools, the counselor identifies and addresses social/emotional and learning needs in individual students. Educational programming, including residential programs, run year-round; therefore, this is a 12-month position.

Qualifications:

A Master's degree or above in Psychology, Social Work, School Counseling or other relevant field. Experience and/or training in school settings and with children and adolescents. Unwavering commitment to professional and ethical standards and demonstrated intercultural competence. Adaptability and flexibility for remote island living.
